He never sleeps(Poetry)

He’s the man who works too hard.

Even though he’s young, he has much on his plate.

Even though he’s not alone, he feels no one can relate.

He misses the times when he could be carefree,

Instead of struggling to uphold his family of three.

He has a kind heart,

though it’s masked with pain.

He wonders what it would feel like if he could just depart.

A simple thing like sleeping becomes such a strain.

Nightmares haunt him all night long,

But of course he knows he has to stay strong.
